CSI - Crime Scene Investigation

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation is a popular American drama series shown by CBS. The series is centered on the group's investigations of forensic scientists from the forensic department of the police in Las Vegas, Nevada. These scientists uncover crimes and deaths in mysterious circumstances and unusual. The series, created by Anthony E. Zuiker, debuted in October 2000 in the U.S. (in April 2001 in Brazil). We created two spin-offs of the series: CSI: Miami and CSI: NY. The opening of the season was the tenth most expensive in television history, costing about $ 400,000. Actor William Petersen, who played the character Gil Grissom in the series, earned a million dollars per episode, and actress Marg Helgenberger, who plays Catherine Willows, about $ 780,000. On May 18, 2011 CBS renewed the series for a new season, the 12th season is scheduled to debut in September 2011 and its completion in May 2012.
